  Absolutely amazing retreat! Would not expect a place like this in Finisterre. Great views of the westward Praia Mar de Fora beach, within short walking distance (10min). Uncharge for access to the 'spa' well worth it... relaxing indoor pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. Breakfast included... fresh baked croissants, creme filled doughnuts, coffee, juice, charcuterie, fruits, etc. Tapas included and served at 8pm, was wine with fresh prepared capreze salad and potato stuffed bell peppers by the hotel owner/chef. Access to beverages/snacks included at all hours. We rode bikes (free to use) to the lighthouse, and after becoming engaged, they treated us to a bottle of champagne on the house! Could not recommend this place more!

  Gem of a hotel and the perfect spot to relax. I enjoyed a few nights there at the end of walking the Camino de Santiago from France. Because I was there in the off-season, the hotel was even more quiet and relaxing. I was able to make use of the hotel bicycles to explore the surrounding area, walked down to the nearby beach, enjoyed an ocean view from my room, had a delicious breakfast downstairs each morning, and otherwise enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and very comfortable and the staff took great care of me. Although I did not use it, there is a well-appointed spa area downstairs, as well. Will definitely be back!
